Loadout & Transportation Surveys
The loadout and transport of large structures or equipment is one of the highest-risk stages in any offshore project. StreamTec provides independent Marine Warranty Survey (MWS) support throughout this phase to ensure operations are safely engineered, properly executed, and fully compliant with marine insurance requirements.
We verify that cargo is loaded, secured, and transported within required safety margins through a combination of engineering review, vessel inspection, and on-site attendance. Our Certificates of Approval (CoAs) confirm that all conditions have been met prior to sail-away, giving assurance to both project stakeholders and insurers.
Our Loadout & Transportation Survey services include:
• Engineering Review for Transport – Evaluation of lift/skid plans, grillage, seafastening, and tow arrangements
• Vessel and Equipment Inspections – Condition checks on barges, cranes, lashings and lifting gear
• On-site Loadout Attendance – Supervision of the loading process and weather condition verification
• Sea-Fastening Verification – Confirmation that fastenings are installed to spec and can withstand marine conditions
• Towage and Transit Approval – Assessment of bollard pull, weather limits and emergency plans before departure
By combining technical review with hands-on supervision, StreamTec ensures every transport operation meets the highest standards of safety and compliance – reducing insurance risk and ensuring your cargo reaches site intact and on time.
