Pipeline Commissioning
We have vast experience in developing, planning and managing all activities required to commission pipelines, offshore and onshore. Integrating all required key commissioning aspects
- technical concept for various commissioning activities, grid connection interface, environmental impact and safety - in close cooperation with the competent external Permitting and Certification Authorities has been proven in many projects executed by StreamTec’s personnel. One example is the successful commissioning of the Nord Stream twin pipelines which included pig runs over 1200km (first time done worldwide) and sequential pressure tests for the segmented pipeline with three different pressure levels (170, 200 and 230 bar) offshore. Our services for commissioning are:
- to develop state-of-the-art concepts to commission a pipeline system
- to identify, pre-qualify and select contractors on a worldwide basis
- to provide interim Project Managers or Specialists for commissioning activities
- to consult clients in specific commissioning requirements or to provide peer-reviews
Pipeline Inspection
StreamTec is very familiar with almost every pipeline inspection technology currently available in the market. This relates to inline-inspection of piggable and challenging (“non-piggable”) pipelines. We support clients in determining of the most suitable inspection technology for each specific pipeline system. Once an inspection program is decided, StreamTec supports clients in preparation and execution of the inspection runs. Also data-evaluation and subsequent integrity assessments can be covered by our experienced team of industry experts.
